 वैश्विक महामारी के दौर में जहां एक ओर लोगों का जीवन असुरक्षित हो चुका है वहीं दूसरी ओर दुनिया के कई देशों में ऐसा देखा गया है कि सत्ता का केंद्रीकरण बढ़ रहा है। लोगों के नागरिक अधिकारों को छीना जा रहा हैं और लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों का ह्रास हो रहा है। इस पृष्ठभूमि में सत्ता की साझेदारी जैसे मुद्दे पर बातचीत की अहमियत और बढ़ जाती है । लोकतांत्रिक राजनीति की दसवीं क्लास की किताब में बच्चों को इस अवधारणा के बारे में पढ़ाया जाता है।

ज्ञान निर्माण की प्रक्रिया को हमेशा से मानव सभ्यता के लिए आवश्यक माना गया है। हमारी आपसी बात-चीत ज्ञान निर्माण की प्रक्रिया का एक अहम हिस्सा है। आधुनिक समय में ऐसा आसानी से देखा जा सकता है कि 'विशिष्ट ज्ञान' अमूमन यूनिवर्सिटी, कॉलेज और स्कूलों तक सीमित होकर रह जाता है। 

The indispensability of the board exam

Recalling my own experience of appearing in the board exam…

It was my 1st time seeing dozens of policemen in uniform with guns. They guarded the examination centre. Police jeeps with sirens kept disturbing the otherwise frightening silence of the examination hall. While we were writing on the answer sheet,  we were startled to hear whistles. Then the stern voice of the invigilator warned us to be alert...flying squads were on the ground, our hands started shivering.
